Eco-friendly solutions in the plastics industry
Ecological solutions within plastics have different facets. See what aspects are important to consider.
Biodegradable plastics
Biodegradability is the breakdown of organic compounds into simple chemical compounds (e.g. water, CO2). Biodegradation of plastics requires the conditions under which this process occurs (e.g. temperature, ph of the substrate, humidity).
Materials from certified crops
FSC® certification is concerned with adherence to guidelines for wood and paper products that preserve the vitality of forests and their biological wealth. The FSC® system is currently considered one of the most credible among existing forest resource certification systems in the world, and is the only one endorsed by major environmental organizations.Owners and managers of forest areas (FSC FM certificate), as well as manufacturers of wood and paper products (FSC CoC certificate) can apply for FSC certification.

Recycled plastics
Recycling is the process of converting waste into new materials and objects. In the case of plastics, it is possible from post-production and/or post-consumer waste. Material that can be reused after processing is called a secondary raw material. Secondary raw materials are processed as many times as possible in order to reduce the exploitation of primary, non-renewable raw materials.
Our offer: Green Cast® (rMMA), ViPrintTM polypropylene film, Smart-X® (PS), Lumex® PET-A / PET-G, CRYLON® (PMMA), polyethylene, polypropylene, HIPS, ABS, FOAMALITE® Plus (PVC), PALBOARD® (PVC), fiber-cement® panels, Tonality® ceramic panels
Environmentally neutral plastics
These are materials that have a neutral impact on human health and the environment. These include polypropylene (PP) - it is a chemically passive material, at room temperature it is almost completely resistant to acids, alkalis, solvents and salts.
Our offer: polypropylene film ViPrintTM, Triaprint® channelboard
Recyclable plastics
The basis of recycling is the proper selection of products after use. Recyclable materials are raw materials that can be used to make the same products as the original or other products with a new purpose.

Certified materials
These are materials that comply with environmental product declarations, such as ISO 14025:2010 and EN 15804. These certifications determine the environmental impact in the various phases of a product's life cycle, from the manufacturing process, assembly, use, to the recyclability of raw materials.
